The GSL flag football squad extended its unbeaten run to seven with a 20-6 win over the Trojans on Sunday (Oct. 26).
ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappgot touchdowns from Marlow Gaddes, Lucas Clements and Beynon McKeen to secure the win. Defensively, it was Coda Miles who led the way with four tackles and one batted ball.
The win kept the Colts two points up on second place Westside Thunder in the division. ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµapphas outscored the opposition 176-33 in the team’s seven games.
Before the team looks to move to 8-0 on Sunday (Nov. 2), they have a unique opportunity to hit the gridiron at Swangard Stadium.
The Colts have been invited to compete at half-time of the SFU Clan vs. Humbolt State Lumberjacks game on Saturday (Nov. 1) in Burnaby. It’ll be the debut for the Colts at Swangard and gives them some extra time on the field before their game against the 49ers in North Vancouver on Sunday (Nov. 2).
The next home game for the team is on Nov. 9 when the Westside Warriors come to Don Ross field.
