Squamish’s mini-version of the Masters is back.
The second annual Mini-Putt Classic presented by Mountain FM is set to take over Whistle Punk Hollow on Monday (Aug. 25) and features a full field of 16 competitors.
At the top of the list is defending champion Dustin “The Spider” Silva, who returns to defend his title after shooting a sparkling 42 in both the opening and final rounds of last year’s event.
The format of this year’s event is the same as last year with 16 competitors split into groups of four, with the best score from each group qualifying to play in the final foursome.
A number of prizes will be up for grabs again this year and the winner will get to clutch the coveted mini-putt classic trophy.
Organizers are asking all competitors to arrive at 3:30 p.m. for a 4 p.m. tee-off time.
