The playoffs are the next stop for the Whistler Saints football club.
The Saints ended the North Shore Football League regular season with a 24-14 win over the North Vancouver Vikings to finish with a flag football division-best record of 8-1.
Beynon McKeen scored two touchdowns, one from a kickoff return and a rushing score. McKeen led the Saints with 40 yards on three carries. The Saints also got rushing touchdowns from Liam Forsyth and Marlowe Gaddes.
Forsyth led the way defensively with five tackles, while McKeen picked up three quarterback sacks.
The win clinches the regular season title for the Saints and they receive a first-round bye for their strong regular season. The team, made up of players from the Sea to Sky Corridor, is expected to play its first playoff game on Nov. 17. Time and location of the game is still to be determined.
