Four people killed in multi-vehicle crash near London, Ont.: OPP

MIDDLESEX — Police in southwestern Ontario say four people are dead after a multi-vehicle crash.

Ontario Provincial Police say emergency crews responded around 4:30 p.m. Friday to the scene of a crash northeast of London between a transport truck and two SUVs.

Sgt. Ed Sanchuk says the collision took place at the intersection of Thorndale Road and Cobble Hills Road.

He says four people inside one of the SUVs died at the scene.

A fifth passenger with serious life-threatening injuries was airlifted to hospital.

Sanchuk says the driver and passenger of the second SUV and the truck driver all had minor injuries.
