Editor,
When will the city planners and BIA get it? ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵappmay be the outdoor rec
capital for young people but ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapphas and will have more seniors and
disabled people. Some retailers have stepped up with ample handicapped spots - Save-On, Shoppers, Wal Mart, MacDonald's and, most recently, Nesters.
In all of downtown ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵappwe have five handicapped parking spaces on our streets.
The Farmers' Market, Arts Council and O`Siyam Pavilion are all but
inaccessible for handicapped drivers.
What's so hard about painting a stencil in a parking spot?
I hope the Brackendale Farmers Institute Fall Fair organizers read this.
