Mountain United FC U16 take on Quest Kermodes

Fundraising dinner held at Mag’s 99 to follow

Quest University mens Kermodes are helping prepare the visiting British Columbia Premier Soccer League, 2016 Champion U16 boys from Mountain United FC, for the upcoming National Championship Tournament in early October in Lethbridge, Alta.

Mountain United FC is a club that represents the elite youth players from Burnaby, North Shore and Sea to Sky Youth Soccer associations.

The BC Premier League is the conduit to talented athletes to ascend to MLS organizations like the Vancouver Whitecaps, or post secondary opportunities at universities throughout North America, including Quest.  

The event will showcase some of the most talented 16-year-old players in Canada.  

Mountain United U16 Boys will be representing British Columbia at the National Championships and have been seeded as number one for the tournament rankings.

Mt. United player and ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappresident Stuart Loop is a starting mid-fielder for the Championship Squad and is extremely proud of his roots and beginnings with the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappYouth Soccer Association. 

Stuart credits his ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappcoaches, teammates and the SYSA for instilling a passion for the beautiful game and appreciates their continued support to this day. 

Loop, Quest Kermodes & Mountain United FC invite all soccer fans here in ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµappand the Sea to Sky Corridor to come show their support for all the players at the Quest Field on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m.

The match will be followed by an opened invitation fundraising dinner event hosted at Mag's 99 Cantina with a TACO and age appropriate beverage (Cerveza 19+) for $10. Entertainment is provided by recording artists Star Collector music starting at 7:15 p.m. Join in and enjoy a fun and entertaining evening of sport, music and food to help send our BC boys off to the National Championship Tournament Oct. 4 to 10, in their bid to become Canadian Champions.
