Woolley narrowly misses podium

ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵappskier posts good results at Canada Winter Games

Kasper Woolley could almost taste the podium, but the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵappskier came up slightly short at the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George.

Woolley hit the slopes Feb. 15, 17 and 18 and competed in the Super G, slalom and giant slalom events.

His top finish was in the slalom on Feb. 18, when he finished fourth. Woolley was only .12 milliseconds away from picking up the bronze medal and he had the second best second run in the field.

Woolley also had a strong showing in the giant slalom on Feb. 15, placing fifth and finishing about a half second off of the podium. He also competed in the Super G, where he placed ninth overall. Woolley had a slower first run, but posted the third best second run amongst all racers.

Next up for Woolley is the Can-Am Series and the Whistler Cup later this year.
